Job Description
As a Full Stack Java Developer on the Software Engineering team, you'll design, build, and maintain high-quality software that meets business goals. You'll contribute across the full development lifecycle-from writing and reviewing code to supporting deployments and optimizing performance-while actively engaging in Agile practices like code reviews, sprint planning, and collaborative ceremonies.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience
- Proven full stack development experience using Java, Kotlin, Spring, Hibernate, Kubernetes, and other back-end technologies
- Building front-end interfaces with React and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively
- Ability to identify technical issues and dependencies, escalate appropriately, and collaborate with senior engineers and managers
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code aligned with team conventions, design patterns, and DRY principles
- Familiarity with refactoring practices and continuous improvement of existing codebases
- Awareness of privacy and compliance standards, including secure handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- Knowledge of secure software development practices to prevent security vulnerabilities
- Ability to balance performance, reliability, and quality with technical trade-offs and debt management
- Understanding of product value and business impact, with a sense of ownership over assigned components
- Proactive in seeking mentorship and continuous learning opportunities to grow technical skills
- Ability to work within team budget constraints and follow internal architecture and design standards
- Executing software builds and ensuring completion according to specified requirements.
- Overseeing deployment and release processes across non-production and production .environments, ensuring platform consistency, availability, and reliability.
- Providing developer support post-release to address issues and bugs during initial usage.
- Conducting code reviews and approvals to maintain coding standards and overall quality.
- Writing clean, testable code that aligns with quality standards and contributes to the product.
- Analyzing and optimizing software performance to meet benchmarks and user expectations.
- Providing technical support and resolving bugs to ensure software stability and user satisfaction.
