Billing Operations Specialist (SaaS / Order-to-Cash)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Billing Operations Specialist to support day-to-day order-to-cash operations for a fast-growing SaaS company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, thrives in high-volume environments, and wants to deepen their expertise in SaaS billing, subscriptions, and revenue operations while working closely with experienced finance and operations leaders.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring orders, invoicing, collections support, and customer account operations run smoothly and accurately across platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and Stripe. Beyond execution, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas that improve workflows, automation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Process and validate customer orders in Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring approvals and documentation are complete and accurate
- Support account provisioning and subscription setup to ensure customers receive the correct access and entitlements
- Generate, review, and validate invoices in NetSuite, including billing terms, taxes, pricing, and subscription details
- Respond to internal billing and account inquiries from Sales, Customer Success, and other teams
- Assist with collections activities, payment follow-ups, onboarding forms, and in-product billing reminders
- Help support quarter-end close activities, workload balancing, and operational coverage across the finance team
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, controls, and automation within the billing lifecycle
- 2–4+ years of experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, or Revenue Operations, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transactional work
- Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable working during US business hours to align with the broader Finance and Operations teams
- Experience supporting subscription billing or recurring revenue models
- Exposure to SaaS metrics, renewals, credits, usage-based billing, or revenue recognition workflows
- Process improvement or automation experience within finance operations
