AREA SALES SPECIALIST
Professional Experience and Minimum Required
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Business Management or any related field from a university;
- At least 3 years of successful sales background in a Consumer Goods industry;
- Candidates must have a thorough understanding and exposure to Distributor accounts;
- Candidates should have analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, willingness to mentor and develop talent, and the ability to thrive under pressure;
- Must have a driver’s license and is flexible to do field works; those who are willing to be relocated get an advantage.
Role Summary:
- Ensures that account of assignment continues to grow in terms of scope, volume and number of accounts;
- Provides promo of activities and store sell-in plans and discuss opportunity to further grow the business;
- Provides and negotiates best deal programs;
- Plans and creates strategies to penetrate new accounts;
- Ensures that sales targets are achieved.

Accountabilities:
- Responsible for monitoring sales based on target set.
- Do field work with the Distributor Salesman.
- Assist Area Sales Manager or Area Sales Specialist in opening new accounts.
- Oversee Sales Promodisers.
- Monitors per store inventory.
- Gather relevant data from competition.
- Maintain and update relevant records.
Professional Experience and Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be at least Bachelor’s/College degree in Marketing/Entrepreneurial/Management or any related course.
- Experience of at least 1-2 years in sales and consumer industry.
- Can interact with all levels of the organization.
- Must be a critical thinker, proactive, and with good communication skills.
- Knowledge in MS Office applications is an advantage.
