Job Summary:

The Procurement & Canvassing Clerk (Auto Parts) is responsible for canvassing, sourcing, and purchasing automotive parts and supplies required by the company. The role ensures that all purchases are based on fair comparison, reliable suppliers, and competitive pricing, avoiding reliance on a single supplier.

Key Responsibilities:

• Canvass and source auto parts from at least 3 suppliers to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
• Prepare canvass sheets and supplier comparison reports for approval.
• Verify compatibility and specifications of auto parts based on requests from the maintenance/operations team.
• Process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related procurement documents.
• Build and maintain a reliable network of auto parts suppliers and dealers.
• Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain records of quotations, purchases, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement guidelines and standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or auto parts sourcing.
• Must be familiar with automotive parts, specifications, and market suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Honest, detail-oriented, and reliable.
