Logistics / Procurement Specialist

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly organized and driven Logistics/Procurement Specialist to support our supply chain and project operations.

Job Description:

The Logistics/Procurement Specialist will manage sourcing, purchasing, and importation logistics to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery of materials and equipment for solar and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, equipment, and services
• Request, analyze, and negotiate quotations to ensure best value
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
• Coordinate closely with project teams to align procurement timelines and requirements
• Importation & Logistics (Key Focus Area)
• Handle end-to-end importation processes for solar equipment and project materials
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for inbound shipments
• Prepare and review import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, permits)
• Ensure compliance with Philippine import regulations, permits, and customs requirements
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve clearance or delivery issues
• Track duties, taxes, and logistics costs to ensure cost efficiency
• Facilitate timely customs clearance and delivery to project sites

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and quality compliance
• Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records and reports
• Support inventory planning and material availability for ongoing projects
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and standards

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics
• ✅ Hands-on experience in importation, customs clearance, and international shipment coordination is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Philippine import/export regulations is a strong advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required); ERP experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
