Specialist, Store Fixtures & Equipment Planning

Job Summary

The Specialist for Store Fixtures & Equipment Planning is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the procurement, layout, and installation of store fixtures and equipment across new and existing branches. The role ensures that all store fit-outs and refurbishments are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with brand standards and operational requirements.

• Develop fixture and equipment plans based on store layouts, operational needs, and merchandising strategies.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and store planning teams to ensure alignment of fixture placement and utilities.
• Source, evaluate, and recommend fixtures and equipment based on quality, cost, and functional requirements.
• Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and procurement schedules for store fixtures and equipment.
• Oversee and monitor installation of fixtures and equipment during store opening or renovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomic, and quality standards in the design and placement of store fixtures.
• Work closely with merchandising, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure practical and efficient fixture design and placement.
• Maintain an inventory and lifecycle tracking of store fixtures and equipment for maintenance and replacement planning.
• Support continuous improvement by researching new technologies and innovative fixture solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in store planning, retail fit-out, equipment sourcing, or project coordination.
• Knowledge of retail operations and fixture functionality for fresh, dry, and non-food categories.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software; MS Office and project tracking tools.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
