General Ledger Management
Oversee daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Maintain chart of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Monitor balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data within the accounting system.

Cost Accounting
Manage cost accounting processes including inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost analysis.
Analyze manufacturing or operational costs and identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Review cost allocations, variances, and inventory reconciliations.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities through detailed cost analysis.

Coordinate with operations and procurement teams regarding costing and inventory controls.

Tax Support
Support tax compliance activities including preparation and review of schedules for tax filings.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax assessments.
Ensure timely submission of tax-related documents and compliance with applicable regulations.
Assist in monitoring changes in tax laws and implementing necessary updates to accounting processes.

Maintain organized documentation to support tax reporting requirements.

Financial Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

Develop and improve reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)
3–5 years minimum in laundry operations or a related field (hotel, hospital laundry, industrial laundry)
