Shop Interior Designer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Shop Interior Designer with a strong focus on furniture layout and spatial planning to design, plan, and execute captivating interior displays and shop environments. This role blends aesthetics with functionality to enhance the customer experience and align with brand identity, ultimately driving sales and engagement within the retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute compelling store interiors that showcase furniture products in innovative and appealing ways.
• Develop floor plans, mood boards, and 3D visualizations for furniture displays and showroom layouts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to align design strategies with commercial goals.
• Source materials, accessories, lighting, and finishes that complement furniture displays.
• Oversee installation and styling of furniture arrangements, ensuring optimal use of space and visual flow.
• Keep up with design trends and consumer behavior to inform display strategies.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and refresh showroom layouts seasonally or as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience in interior design with a focus on furniture or retail environments.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and materials.
• Attention to detail and strong aesthetic judgment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail store design, showroom design, or furniture showroom staging.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ergonomic design principles.
• Familiarity with construction processes and building codes.
