Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled GoHighLevel Specialist to take hands-on ownership of building out and fully configuring our CRM and automation platform. This role covers agency and sub-account environment setup, workflow construction, notification and trigger configuration, form integration, and the migration of all existing communication processes into GoHighLevel.
The ideal candidate brings broad, practical experience across the full GHL ecosystem, works collaboratively with business owners, and is confident recommending the most effective configurations and best practices as the platform takes shape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure GoHighLevel agency and sub-account environments comprehensively from scratch
- Build automated workflows to handle lead capture, client communication management, and system-triggered notifications
- Develop and configure forms within GoHighLevel to replace all third-party form tools currently in use
- Migrate existing email and SMS communication workflows from legacy platforms into GoHighLevel
- Set up notification systems and workflow triggers to make all client-facing communications faster and more consistent
- Integrate GoHighLevel with current tools including Google Workspace and any relevant external platforms
- Partner closely with the business owner to define best practices, align the setup with business goals, and refine the platform on an ongoing basis
- Deliver clear guidance and well-reasoned recommendations on GoHighLevel features, configuration choices, and workflow architecture
- Assist with the initial setup of advertising functionality within GoHighLevel once the core platform build is complete
- Produce thorough documentation of all configurations and processes to support sustainable long-term platform management
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience setting up and configuring GoHighLevel at both agency and sub-account levels
- Strong command of GoHighLevel workflows, automations, triggers, and notification systems
- Experience building forms, funnels, and landing pages within GoHighLevel
- Demonstrated ability to migrate email and SMS workflows from other CRM or marketing platforms into GoHighLevel
- Familiarity with Google Workspace integration within the GoHighLevel environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical setups and configurations clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative in recommending improvements and identifying the most effective approach
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience configuring GoHighLevel for service-based businesses
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel's built-in advertising and lead generation tools
- Experience with third-party booking platform integration and full CRM migrations
- Working knowledge of third-party form builders to inform and support migration planning
- Ability to build clear SOPs and configuration documentation for long-term team use
- Background supporting small business owners or solo founders in assembling and managing their full technology stack
