A plumber in a real estate company maintains, installs, and repairs plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, drainage) in residential and commercial properties. They perform routine inspections, respond to emergency maintenance calls, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and repairing plumbing installations, including water heaters, toilets, and sewer lines.
• Repairs and Installations: Installing new piping, fixing leaks, and clearing drain blockages in residential units or commercial spaces.
• Emergency Response: Providing quick solutions to emergency issues (e.g., burst pipes).
• Collaboration & Reporting: Working with contractors, maintaining detailed work logs, and documenting materials used.
• Code Compliance: Ensuring all work meets local building codes and safety standards

Qualifications/Requirements

Education and Certification

TESDA Certification (NC II): A Plumbing National Certificate II from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is the standard requirement for most maintenance plumbing roles in buildings and condominiums.

• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of building facilities, plumbing systems, and fixtures (e.g., faucets, water closets, piping networks).
• Prior experience in high-rise or subdivision plumbing installation is preferred.
• Experience as an apprentice under a licensed Master Plumber.
