Warehouseman - Cagayan de Oro

Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for the comprehensive management of all inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accurate reception, classification, storage, organization, recording, and monitoring of materials. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels, facilitating efficient operations, and supporting timely project execution.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

The Inventory Staff will primarily focus on the following:

• Inventory Management & Control:
• Conduct periodic counting, storing, and replenishment of construction materials and tools, project office supplies, spare parts (S/E), equipment, and fuel.
• Maintain meticulous records of all inventory items and prepare reports on variances, usage, damage, wear, or defects for re-evaluation and adjustments.
• Implement and adhere to the First In First Out (FIFO) inventory control method.
• Perform cycle counting to verify inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate re-orders as needed, coordinating closely with the procurement department regarding pending re-orders.
• Receiving & Storage:
• Ensure safety and proper handling of all received and released items.
• Inspect and tag all received items according to requested specifications.
• Classify and store items in an orderly and accessible manner within the warehouse.
• Issuance & Reporting:
• Process withdrawals based on requests and job orders, assisting in the release of items to end-users according to required specifications.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to the Inventory Management Department Head.
