There are over $1,000,000,000,000 of building materials bought in the US every year, and many of these transactions happen in on-prem point-of-sale systems. We want to bring these transactions online, enabling better experiences for contractors and homeowners alike.
Key Responsibilities ?A. Recruiting
- Candidate Sourcing
- Use LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms (e.g., Indeed, AngelList, GitHub, BuiltIn) to identify prospective candidates based on role-specific criteria and feedback from hiring managers.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill roles.
- Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship-building.
- Application Review
- Screen incoming applications for qualifications, experience, and alignment with the role and company values.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to calibrate filters and revise screening criteria as needed.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to organize candidate stages and notes.
- Conduct initial phone or video interviews to evaluate candidate motivation, communication, and cultural fit.
- Assess candidate alignment with the role’s requirements, including technical, operational, or managerial competencies.
- Deliver structured feedback and recommendations to hiring managers to inform decision-making.
- Serve as a consistent representative of the company’s values and mission throughout the interview process.
- Interview Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with internal team members and candidates across time zones.
- Communicate interview logistics and prepare candidates for each step in the process.
- Ensure timely feedback loops between interviewers and hiring teams.
- Process Improvement
- Recommend improvements to recruiting workflows to enhance speed, equity, and candidate experience.
- Create or revise job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Document and refine internal recruiting processes in playbooks or SOPs.
- Candidate Communication
- Own the candidate experience from first touch to offer, including answering questions, providing updates, and conveying company culture.
- Notify rejected candidates promptly and respectfully, maintaining a positive brand impression.
- Reporting and Metrics
- Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing channel effectiveness, and candidate conversion rates.
- Generate reports for leadership on pipeline health and hiring status by department or role.
- Email Management
- Organize and respond to emails, flagging high-priority items.
- Calendar Coordination
- Schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring no conflicts.
- Document Preparation
- Draft, edit, and format documents or presentations.
- Research
- Conduct ad hoc research tasks and compile data for decision-making.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the team.
- ⏰ Hours
- 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM Philippine Time, Tuesday to Saturday.
- ? Occasional Night Calls
- Some tasks may require 15-30 minute calls during US working hours.

- $700/month

- You are registered with the BIR as an independent contractor and you will be responsible for filing and paying your own taxes.

- ? You hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.
- Be located in Metro Manila or surrounding locations (Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan)

- ?️ Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- ? Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

- Must have a reliable internet connection suitable for remote work and virtual meetings.
- Screening Call (30 minutes): ? A remote call with Czarina, an Operations Lead at Rundoo.
- Interview (30 minutes): ? A remote interview with Amanda, Head of Finance, Recruiting, and Operations.
- Homework Assignment (2-hour prep): ? Instructions for the task will be sent after the introductory call.
- On-Site Interview (1 hour): ? An in-person interview with Amanda focusing on your ability to learn quickly.
- Culture Fit Discussion (30 minutes): ? A remote conversation with Sydney, an Operations Lead, about your background, aspirations, and alignment with company values.
- Reference Check: ✅ Provide two substantial references for evaluation.
