The Project In-Charge (PIC) for a chicken poultry construction project is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the successful completion of the project according to the approved plans, schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily construction activities in accordance with approved plans, specifications, budget, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supervise all on-site construction activities, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Enforce site safety policies, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manage manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources to support efficient operations.
- Monitor project costs, material usage, and productivity while minimizing delays and unnecessary expenses.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues, implement corrective actions, and submit regular progress reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including inspection records, RFIs, variation orders, site instructions, and project photos.
- Attend coordination meetings, address client concerns, and provide project updates.
- Oversee punch listing, testing and commissioning, and prepare turnover documents to ensure successful project handover.

Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Licensed Engineers are preferred but not required.
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in construction project supervision, preferably in industrial, agricultural, or poultry farm construction projects. Experience in warehouse construction is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, project scheduling, quality control, safety regulations, and site supervision, with the ability to effectively lead and coordinate construction activities.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD; familiarity with construction documentation and reporting is an advantage.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel and stay in remote project locations as required.
- Physically fit and capable of working in an active construction site environment while maintaining compliance with company safety standards.
