Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the real-time operational control, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all non-manufacturing infrastructure across both office and plant facilities. This role focuses on ensuring 100% uptime for critical utility and building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety while strictly excluding direct production machinery.

The successful candidate will manage multi-site operations, one for Sta. Rosa Laguna and other neighboring locations, ensuring compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Critical Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain high-speed building systems including HVAC/Chillers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Generators, Electrical Switchgear, and Water Treatment Systems.
  • Multi-Site Oversight: Conduct regular site audits and inspections across various Philippine locations to ensure uniform facility standards and asset health.
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Implement and lead PM schedules for all facility-related equipment to minimize reactive repairs and extend asset lifecycles.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise third-party service providers for specialized maintenance tasks (e.g., elevator servicing, pest control, office renovations), ensuring adherence to SLAs and safety protocols.
  • Emergency Response: Serve as the primary technical point of contact during shifts for facility emergencies, including power outages, leaks, or fire alarm activations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to the Philippine Electrical Code, Fire Code of the Philippines, and local Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
  • Energy & Sustainability: Monitor energy and water consumption patterns; identify and implement initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of office and plant facilities.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate shift logs, equipment history, and incident reports via Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer (PRC License) is highly preferred
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Facilities Management or Plant Utilities, ideally within the FMCG or Beverage industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) and CMMS.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for reviewing facility layouts.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, leadership of technician teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mobility: Must be willing to travel between sites across the Philippines and work in a shifting schedule (including nights/weekends).
