About the role
Areva Building Design Corp is seeking an experienced Architect (BIM Revit) to join our dynamic design team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering innovative architectural solutions through Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology.As an Architect specialising in BIM and Revit, you will be at the forefront of transforming traditional design practices into cutting-edge digital workflows, ensuring our projects are delivered with precision, efficiency and excellence. This role is integral to maintaining Areva Building Design Corp's reputation for delivering world-class architectural designs and technical documentation.
Key responsibilities- Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout all project phases
- Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications and technical documentation from BIM models for construction and tender purposes
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP specialists and other consultants to integrate their disciplines within the unified BIM environment
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify conflicts between building systems and optimise spatial planning and Cobie Tagging if needed.
- Minimum 2 years of professional architectural experience with substantial BIM and Autodesk Revit expertise
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit for modelling, documentation and coordination across multiple disciplines
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes and construction methodologies
- Experience with clash detection tools and BIM coordination workflows
- Proficiency in creating detailed construction documents, schedules and specifications
- Knowledge of 3D visualisation and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion or similar)
- Experience with BIM management platforms and cloud-based collaboration tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas to clients and team members
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Professional architecture qualification or relevant degree in Architecture or related field
- Registration as an architect with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is highly desirable
- Experience working on diverse project types such as commercial, residential, mixed-use or institutional buildings is preferred
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards is an advantage
