About the Role

Valtatech is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integrations between Coupa (Spend Management platform) and enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, and other financial systems.

This role will be responsible for defining and implementing integration architecture that enables seamless data exchange between procurement systems and ERP platforms, ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational reliability.

The Integration Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, ERP teams, and Coupa implementation teams to design integration solutions using middleware platforms, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

This is a hands-on role where the architect will be designing and building the integrations, including performing and supporting SIT, UAT, Deployment to Production and post go-live hypercare support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build the end-to-end integration architecture between Coupa and ERP systems.
• Ensure the Integration design and architecture is reliable, and scalable based on customer’s data and volume requirements.
• Ensure Integrations are designed and built in-line with the best practice industry standards, quality and performance.
• Define the middleware-based integration hub that orchestrates and transforms data flows between procurement and financial systems.
• Architect integrations for procurement lifecycle processes including but not limited to:
• Requisitions
• Purchase Orders
• Receipts
• Invoices
• Supplier and master data synchronization.

• Design bi-directional integrations between Coupa and ERP systems to ensure procurement transactions flow correctly to financial systems.
• Ensure that ERP remains the system of financial record, while Coupa acts as the procurement control system.
• Define integration patterns using:
• REST APIs
• Middleware connectors
• SAP BAPI/RFC interfaces
• CSV / batch interfaces.

• Lead the development of integrations using enterprise middleware platforms (such as Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, or similar) and API-based connectors.
• Define and build transformation logic, orchestration flows, and integration monitoring capabilities.
• Implement robust error handling, retry logic, and monitoring mechanisms for integration processes.

• Ensure consistency of master data including:
• Suppliers
• Cost centers
• Chart of accounts
• User profiles and financial metadata.
• Establish integration standards covering:
• Mapping specifications
• Data transformation
• Volume and frequency management
• Integration testing processes.

• Lead integration workshops and define Integration Requirements Documents (IRD) and mapping specifications.
• Guide the team through design, build, testing, and deployment phases of integration delivery.
• Work with ERP teams and infrastructure teams to enable secure connectivity between systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience designing integrations between SaaS platforms and ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with below will be highly regarded but not mandatory:
• Coupa integrations
• SAP (ECC / S4HANA)
• Oracle / PeopleSoft / other ERPs
• Jitterbit
• Boomi
• Other enterprise middleware platforms

• APIs and REST integrations
• Experience with one or more enterprise integration platforms such as Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, or similar
• SAP BAPI / RFC connectors
• Message orchestration and transformation tools.

• Enterprise integration patterns
• Data mapping and transformation
• Event-driven and batch integration models
• Error handling and monitoring strategies.

• Coupa implementation experience (Procurement, Sourcing, SIM).
• Experience with Jitterbit and/or Boomi integration platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) integrations.
• Experience in ERP migration or system decoupling architecture.
• Familiarity with supplier collaboration platforms and procurement automation.

• Enterprise Coupa-to-ERP integrations for global procurement transformation projects.
• Integration of procurement platforms with financial systems and supplier networks.
• Designing and building reliable and scalable integration frameworks to support multi-ERP environments and future platform migrations.

• Work on large-scale global procurement transformation programs.
• Build cutting-edge integration architecture for cloud procurement platforms.
• Collaborate with experts in Coupa, ERP systems, and enterprise integration.
