ACCOUNTING OFFICER

Job Description

Responsible for managing and analyzing a company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support management decision-making. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Knowledgeable in Financial statement, Alpha list and can handle Payroll
• Tax Compliance: Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely and accurate tax payments in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Accounts Management: Process and oversee transactions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll as needed.
• Auditing and Controls: Support internal and external audits. Develop and maintain documented business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to recommend actions that reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy graduate
• At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting, and government compliance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
