Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Interior Design (ID) team to ensure high-quality outputs and timely submissions.
- Assign projects, monitor progress, and provide guidance on design standards and presentation quality.
- Conduct regular training and skills development for the team.
- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, and presentations before submission to clients.
- Work closely with sales executives to understand client requirements and provide design proposals that align with sales objectives.
- Oversee preparation of mood boards, 3D renderings, and technical drawings for production.
- Ensure all designs meet ergonomic, functional, and aesthetic standards.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain design concepts and proposals.
- Provide technical assistance and design recommendations to sales staff to support project negotiations.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible and within budget.
- Ensure design outputs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain updated knowledge of design trends, materials, and innovative furniture solutions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly design activity reports for management review.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure targets are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in interior design, preferably in the office and home furniture industry.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of furniture production processes is an advantage.
- Office-based with regular visits to client sites and production facilities.
- May require extended hours to meet project and sales deadlines.
