About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Polystar General Services Inc. in Malate Manila City, Metro Manila. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our housekeeping operations, overseeing a team of dedicated housekeeping staff to provide a clean, welcoming and comfortable environment for our clients.This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing- Supervise and coordinate the work of the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise efficiency and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Provide training and support to housekeeping staff to develop their skills and knowledge
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and identify any issues
- Respond promptly to any guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to housekeeping operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping/hospitality industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly to address any issues that arise
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and equipment, and relevant health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
