Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Work Location: Cyberscape Alpha, Ortigas Center, Pasig City (On-site)

What is your mission?

You will document incidents, support security operations, participate in on‑call rotations, and continuously improve security posture through analysis, reporting, and collaboration.

You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:

• Monitor organizational event and network logs to detect potential security threats and breaches
• Analyze and triage security alerts generated by SIEM and security platforms
• Respond to and escalate security incidents in accordance with established incident response procedures
• Participate in a weekly on‑call rotation to handle after‑hours critical security alerts
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports documenting incident type, impact, actions taken, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of security monitoring, investigations, and incident response activities
• Work with the security team to identify, assess, and address network and system vulnerabilities
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and patch management, ensuring timely deployment while considering business impact
• Investigate and respond to phishing incidents and support phishing simulation and security awareness initiatives
• Prepare and distribute security advisory communications and monthly patch release notifications to information technology stakeholders
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including runbooks, policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
• Document security configurations, workflows, and response procedures for operational continuity
• Research current information security threats, trends, and technologies to recommend security improvements

• CompTIA Security+ certification as a mandatory credential
• Hands‑on experience with at least one SIEM platform supporting alert review and log analysis
• Prior exposure to security alert analysis, log investigation, and security ticket workflows
• Experience with endpoint or security technologies such as SentinelOne, Webroot, Cylance, or DNS filtering tools
• Hands‑on understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, ports, protocols, and basic defense‑in‑depth security concepts
• Basic PowerShell scripting experience for security operations or automation support
• Experience using enterprise ticketing systems for incident tracking and escalation
• Demonstrated willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and handle after‑hours critical security incidents
• Excellent English communication skills for clear incident communication and reporting
• Calm and methodical approach to incident handling under pressure
• Strong documentation skills for accurate escalation notes and ticket updates
