Swiftpoint is a New Zealand technology company that designs and sells innovative computer peripherals to customers around the world.
Our products are used by gamers, engineers, creators, enterprise users, and professionals across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
We are establishing a Philippine Innovation, Operations and Manufacturing Hub that will support product assembly, warehousing, logistics, supplier development, engineering collaboration, and future manufacturing initiatives.
We are looking for an exceptional builder, organiser, and problem solver to become one of the first members of our Philippine team and help establish Swiftpoint Philippines from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into reality. You might come from operations, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, logistics, technical project management, or a related field, but what matters most is your ability to take ownership, solve problems, and create practical systems that work.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with company leadership and play a key role in shaping the future of Swiftpoint’s global supply chain and manufacturing capability.
About The Role
This is not a traditional operations role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building and creating systems, not simply managing existing ones.
Initially, Swiftpoint Philippines will be a small operation focused on assembly, logistics, supplier development, and operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the operation, including facility setup, supplier relationships, recruitment, quality systems, inventory management, and process development.
Success will require both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. As the operation grows, the role will evolve into leading and scaling the Philippine team while helping shape Swiftpoint's long-term presence in the region.
The role will involve regular collaboration with international teams and suppliers, with occasional travel within Asia and to New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
Facility Establishment- Identify and evaluate suitable locations for Swiftpoint’s Philippine operation
- Assist with facility selection, lease negotiations, and site setup
- Design efficient warehouse, assembly, testing, and inventory workflows
- Coordinate equipment procurement and installation
- Develop operational processes and procedures required for launch
- Create practical, scalable systems suitable for a growing operation
- Establish quality, inventory, and workflow disciplines from day one
- Ensure operational readiness for production
- Oversee day-to-day assembly, testing, and logistics operations
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure products meet Swiftpoint quality standards
- Manage inventory and stock control systems
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers
- Maintain inventory accuracy and reporting
- Ensure efficient material flow through the operation
- Recruit, train, and develop assembly and operations staff
- Create a positive, high-performance culture
- Build a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
- Establish training systems and quality standards
- Lead by example and help establish the operating culture of Swiftpoint Philippines
- Provide coaching, leadership, and performance management
- Assist in developing Swiftpoint’s long-term Philippine manufacturing strategy
- Support diversification of the global supply chain
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency
- Act as a trusted local representative of Swiftpoint when working with suppliers, service providers, government agencies, and business partners
- Help shape the long-term direction of Swiftpoint Philippines as the operation grows
- Participate in future manufacturing and expansion initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Essential- Strong English communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build, improve, or establish systems, processes, operations, or teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Comfortable making decisions in situations where information may be incomplete
- Strong computer and Excel skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Operations, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, sourcing, or logistics experience
- Electronics manufacturing experience
- PCB or PCBA manufacturing knowledge
- Supplier sourcing and qualification experience
- Technical or engineering background
- Warehouse or inventory management experience
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Experience working with international companies
- Comfortable with occasional international travel for supplier visits, training, manufacturing audits, and business meetings
