Accounting Officer

Job Description

Qualifications:

• Open to non-CPA candidates.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in general accounting.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in:
• Accounting principles and practices
• BIR permits and compliance
• Financial data encoding
• Preparation of financial reports
• Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Handling monthly dues and recurring payments
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity and experience with BIR platforms, including 2361, Alpha List, and ORUS.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
• Prepare and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely submission of all necessary BIR permits and compliance requirements.
• Accurately encode financial data and maintain organized accounting records.
• Manage and reconcile monthly dues and other recurring payments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
