General Accounting Officer

About the role

This full-time role will be based in our Caloocan City office in Metro Manila.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support business decisions
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the company's assets
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and advise on the implications for the business
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a positive team environment

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a general accounting role & cost accounting, preferably in a similar industry or organization
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• CPA certification or equivalent is a plus
