POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager, Senior Manager, and Vice President of Legal & Compliance in handling the organization’s legal operations. The role involves assisting with day-to-day legal matters and providing reliable legal guidance to executive leadership and internal teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide legal support to the Manager, Senior Manager, and VP – Legal for Integrated Resort Operations
  • Represent the company in court and quasi-judicial proceedings when necessary
  • Review case endorsements for potential legal action, including analysis of facts and documents
  • Draft and review pleadings, legal documents, and court submissions related to ongoing cases
  • Coordinate with internal departments on legal matters requiring action or advice
  • Track and monitor cases handled by external legal counsel
  • Review, revise, or draft contracts and agreements as requested
  • Provide legal opinions and advice on various corporate and operational matters
  • Participate in internal administrative investigations and recommend disciplinary action in line with company policies
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on relevant legal issues
  • Handle remedial legal actions, such as drafting demand letters and facilitating settlements
  • Perform other legal functions as assigned by the company
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in legal practice
  • Background as in-house counsel or associate in a law firm
  • Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
  • Solid knowledge of corporate law, labor law, and litigation
  • Strong communication skills with a respectful and constructive approach
  • Analytical thinker with clear and logical problem-solving abilities
  • Willing to be assigned at either Solaire North (Quezon City) or Solaire Resort Entertainment City (Parañaque)
