Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG)

Reporting into a senior commercial leader, you will own the customer and channel growth agenda. This is a highly visible role that combines customer strategy, annual planning, promotional development, trade investment management, and stakeholder influence to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

• Lead the development and execution of customer and channel strategies that drive sustainable growth.
• Shape joint business plans and commercial priorities in partnership with sales and cross-functional teams.
• Develop customer plans aligned with business objectives, category opportunities, and market trends.
• Drive strategic decision-making through the analysis of customer, channel, and market performance data.
• Build compelling commercial recommendations and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead annual and quarterly planning processes to ensure alignment across commercial teams.
• Define promotional and campaign strategies that maximise growth and return on investment.
• Manage and optimise trade investment across key customers and channels.
• Evaluate commercial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders to align priorities and accelerate business growth.
• Balance short-term commercial delivery with long-term strategic objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the wider commercial organisation on customer and channel opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Customer Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Commercial Planning, Sales Strategy, or a related commercial function.
• Strong background in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or similarly fast-paced industries.
• Demonstrated experience developing customer strategies and managing commercial plans.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget management and ROI evaluation.
• Experience analysing complex data and translating insights into business actions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across matrix organisations.
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
• Track record of managing competing priorities and making decisions in complex commercial environments.
• Ability to work independently while building strong collaborative relationships across teams
