Accounting Staff I Accounts Payable

Homemaker Furniture Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Staff to support our finance team in managing supplier payments, invoice processing, and accurate record-keeping. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
• Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multiple tasks
• Good communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and process supplier/vendor invoices and expense claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and issue check payments to suppliers in accordance with approved disbursement procedures
• Record and maintain all billings and supplier invoices in the QuickBooks accounting system
• Review and monitor accounts payable aging to ensure timely settlement of obligations
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and concerns
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the immediate head
