The Purchasing Officer is responsible for canvassing, negotiating, procuring products and supplies essential to manufacturing and business operations. This role ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials equipment, parts, office supplies, and other requirements necessary for smooth organizational functions.
The Officer will work closely with suppliers, conduct cost analysis and maintain strong vendor relationship to support operational efficiency and compliance with company standards
KEY RESPONSIBLE- Canvass, Negotiate and Purchase Products and Supplies for manufacturing and business operations.
Source and evaluate vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Procure Raw Materials for production facilities, equipment, parts, and Office Supplies
Conduct cost analysis and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Ensure compliance with supply chain procedures and company policies.Collaborate with Internal teams to forecast and meet supply requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration , Supply Chain, Management, or Any related field.
At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or Supervisor in Manufacturing, construction, or Related Industries.
Strong Analytical skills with the Ability to conduct cost analysis. Solid Vendor sourcing and negotiation skills
Good Understanding of Supply chain procedures. Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Strong interpersonal and people management skills
