Job Description
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a technically proficient and service-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This role blends traditional support responsibilities with basic QA and log analytics tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable diagnosing production issues, executing manualtest cases, and analyzing logs using tools like Grafana or Kibana.Familiarity with Jira isessential.
- Respond to support requests from Level 1 and Level 2 via Teams, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner
- Review and manage tickets in GLPI, ITSP, and JIRA, ensuring accurate documentation and prioritization
- Perform root cause analysis using Grafana, Kibana, or similar log monitoring tools
- Execute manual test cases to validate fixes, configurations, and reported issues
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and resolve issues requiring code changesor deeper investigation
- Conduct basic database operations (SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE) for configurationand data fixes
- Document troubleshooting steps, decisions, and resolutions clearly and consistently
- Participate in preventative maintenance activities, including performance monitoring and system health checks
- Support end-to-end application processes, including frontend and backend components
- Be available for shift work, including evenings and weekends, and respond to urgent issueson-call when needed
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in technical support or application support roles
- Basic experience with Grafana, Kibana, or similar log analytics tools
- Familiarity with manual testing practices and executing test cases
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA, GLPI is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL and browser-based diagnostic tools
- Understanding of data architecture and configuration management
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technical environments
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with remote or onshore teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
