Key Responsibilities

Facilities Management
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, utilities, etc.).
  • Monitor and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Manage contractors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficient services.
  • Support space planning, allocation, and facility improvements within the plant.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of workplace amenities, cleanliness, and security.
Safety and Compliance
  • Act as the designated Safety Officer in compliance with DOLE and other regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification within the plant.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.
  • Organize safety training, drills, and awareness campaigns for plant employees.
  • Maintain updated records of safety compliance, permits, and certifications.
  • Investigate accidents/incidents, recommend corrective actions, and submit reports.
Administration & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain facilities and safety documentation, permits, and regulatory reports.
  • Monitor budget, expenses, and cost-saving initiatives for facilities operations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for facility and safety-related requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding facilities status and safety compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Safety, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a plant or industrial environment.
  • Accredited Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) certification under DOLE (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with government safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and facilities management systems.
