We are seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer for a 3-month contract to support the deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and related IT infrastructure across multiple shop locations. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Install, configure, and test POS systems, peripherals, and software applications at shop locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on-site in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks on IT equipment (POS, printers, routers, workstations, etc.).
• Collaborate with the central IT team to ensure system compatibility and data integrity.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and installation details for future reference.
• Provide basic end-user training and support to shop staff on POS usage and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with IT and security standards during installations and servicing.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT support when necessary.
