QA/QC Electrical Engineer

About the role

As QA/QC Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality assurance and quality control processes that safeguard our products' performance, safety, and reliability. Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures and protocols for electrical and electronic products and systems
• Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of electrical components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Analyze test data and inspection results to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, reports, and records in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance and manage incoming material inspection activities
• Conduct root cause analysis on product failures and non-conformances to prevent recurrence
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety standards, industry regulations, and international quality management systems (ISO 9001, IEC standards, etc.)
• Perform audits of manufacturing processes, test facilities, and quality systems to ensure adherence to established procedures
• Provide technical support and training to production and testing personnel on quality procedures and best practices
• Participate in design reviews and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) activities to enhance product quality at the design stage

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in QA/QC roles within the electrical, electronics, or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing methodologies, measurement techniques, and test equipment operation
• Familiarity with relevant electrical and safety standards, including IEC, IEEE, and Philippine electrical codes
• Proficiency in quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025
• Experience with failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
• Competency in data analysis and statistical quality control methods
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with quality management software or databases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Professional certification in quality management (CQA, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is advantageous
• Experience with electrical safety testing, calibration procedures, and laboratory equipment is highly valued
