Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the creation, alteration, maintenance of the facilities and equipment Planned Maintenance Schedule of Work and Site Condition Assessment Program. Responsible for all additions, subtractions, and changes in scope or work as pertains to the document and its timely submittal to the Government.

This position is empowered to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials, define crafts and skills, and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient work control plan.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work controls processes. The primary role is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination (scheduling) of labor, parts and material, tools, and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation and equipment access.
  • In coordination with trade leads and using Maximo develops and maintains the master Planned Maintenance Schedule of Work.
  • Oversight of the contractual document and responsible for correction/limitation of errors and omissions
  • Responsible for addition of new facilities and installations to the PM SOW.
  • Utilizes and updates the PM SOW to reflect changes and denote locations of facilities.
  • Assists with recording and preparing reports for submission.
  • Reports and supervises the execution of Preventive Maintenance of all equipment and facilities through the PM SOW.
  • Coordinates work with other departments through maintenance phases and service repair projects to maintain a cooperative joint effort.
  • Contributes to the effective team management of all relevant problems, issues, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Facilities Management with direct experience in facilities management of military installations.
  • College Degree in a related field. Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use and application of Maximo Maintenance Module, Excel, and Word programs.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US Government Clearance.

Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a secret Clearance.

Physical and/or Other Requirements:

  • Creation and maintenance of the Planned Maintenance Schedule of Work.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
