Finance Director

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee the company's finance and accounting operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting, maintaining regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

• Lead the company's finance and accounting operations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and statutory requirements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, and Bank Reconciliations
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory agencies
• Strengthen internal controls and support audit activities
• Develop financial strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Partner with business leaders by providing financial analysis and recommendations
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounting team
• Drive process improvements and finance systems optimization

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
• MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage
• At least 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of:
• Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Philippine taxation and regulatory compliance
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Treasury and cash flow management
• Financial reporting and audit
• Experience using ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
