Finance and Accounting Senior Supervisor

The Finance and Accounting Sr. Supervisor is responsible for performing highly specialized accounting work. Working under the direction of the Company President and CEO.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

• Directs and coordinates the daily activities of the accounting staff to quickly and accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the company.
• The incumbent should be a highly motivated self-starter with supervisory, review, and proofing experience.
• The incumbent is also responsible for the finalization of annual financial statements and coordinating the Company’s annual audit.
• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
• Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
• Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
• Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
• Coordinates the involvement of the accounting personnel in order to meet departmental objectives, KPI’s and customers’ expectations.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Manage documentation, including contracts, agreements, and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Accountancy
• Preferably with CPA
• With at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in general accounting or financial accounting gained from an automotive industry or accounting firm
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and Phil Financial Reporting System and related tax laws.
• Computer literate on MS office packages or Google Suite.
