Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development or implementation projects. (Non-negotiable)
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Management. (Non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software implementation and/or development. (Non-negotiable)
- At least 5 years of experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, or partners. (Non-negotiable)
- Strong background in system implementation. (Non-negotiable)
- Relevant experience in a banking or credit card operations environment. (Non-negotiable)
- Knowledge of application design, system integration principles, and straight-through processing.
- Proficient in project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Scrum. (Non-negotiable)
- Hands-on experience in the Scrum process, serving as Scrum Master or equivalent. (Non-negotiable)
- Broad understanding of various banking business segments, with the ability to link operational performance to business outcomes.
- Manage and lead projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Create, maintain, and secure approval for Project Plans and Work Plans.
- Prepare and deliver Project Status Reports, tracking progress across schedule, quality, and scope.
- Monitor and control project budgets and expenditures as applicable.
- Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution in collaboration with project teams.
- Actively participate in and facilitate key project meetings and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and legal/regulatory requirements; support audit activities when necessary.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and prepare Project Close-Out Reports.
- Ensure complete documentation and archiving of all required project artifacts.
- Lead Agile/Scrum teams by facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Serve as a servant-leader to the Scrum Team, fostering adherence to Agile principles, processes, and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of project and business goals.
