We are looking for an Accounting Associate to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Reconciles and posts entries into accounting software.
  • Review forms, and set up new accounts in the accounting software.
  • Checks all documentation and resolve discrepancies
  • Handles delinquency reports and letters
  • Assist in preparing payroll
  • Update the owner’s information
  • Data Entry and file maintenance
  • Prepare Aging of Accounts
  • Daily communication by video call or email with interdepartmental members
  • Assist with new projects where applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Adaptable and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to support others when needed
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Three (3) years or more of general accounting experience
  • Has worked in at least two different accounting software programs.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and GL
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent commercial and business awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly meticulous and must have the ability to be very detailed oriented and able to comprehend instructions and procedures in a detailed step-by-step format
  • Must have a stable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
