Accounting Associate - 100% Permanent Work-from-Home

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reconciles and posts entries into accounting software.
- Review forms, and set up new accounts in the accounting software.
- Checks all documentation and resolve discrepancies
- Handles delinquency reports and letters
- Assist in preparing payroll
- Update the owner’s information
- Data Entry and file maintenance
- Prepare Aging of Accounts
- Daily communication by video call or email with interdepartmental members
- Assist with new projects where applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Adaptable and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and willingness to support others when needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Three (3) years or more of general accounting experience
- Has worked in at least two different accounting software programs.
- Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and GL
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent commercial and business awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly meticulous and must have the ability to be very detailed oriented and able to comprehend instructions and procedures in a detailed step-by-step format
- Must have a stable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
