WFH Inbound Mortgage Appointment Setter
Job Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Inbound Mortgage Appointment Setter to join a growing California-based mortgage lending company. You will be the first point of contact for warm, inbound leads generated through digital marketing campaigns.Your primary responsibility is to qualify prospective borrowers, gather key information, and schedule appointments with the Mortgage Advisor or Closing Team.
This is NOT a cold-calling role. Every lead has already expressed interest in learning more about mortgage solutions.
Candidates with mortgage industry experience are highly preferred. At a minimum, applicants must have previous experience in the financial services industry and a strong background in appointment setting or sales.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST, with 1 hour break (40 work hours per week) (with some flexibility)
Responsibilities- Contact warm inbound leads who have submitted online enquiries.
- Qualify prospective borrowers by gathering key financial and mortgage-related information.
- Schedule qualified appointments with the Mortgage Advisor/Closing Team.
- Accurately update CRM records and document all customer interactions.
- Build rapport and communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Respond quickly to new enquiries and maintain timely follow-up.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting KPIs.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoffs.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is required.
- Mortgage, lending, or loan brokerage experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in appointment setting, inside sales, or lead qualification.
- Excellent English communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to build rapport and qualify prospects.
- Fast, accurate computer and typing skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Previous experience working for a Mortgage Broker, Mortgage Lender, or Financial Services company.
- Experience handling warm inbound leads generated through Meta Ads, Google Ads, or other digital marketing channels.
- Experience working with US-based clients.
