Licensed Architect – Design Engineering (Project Based)

1. Prepares detailed mechanical engineering design and relative technical bidding documents for CAPEX in-house projects in accordance with specified quality, cost and time frame and acceptability as prescribed by the company.
2. Prepares complete detailed engineering design for Primary System with accurate design and analysis and in accordance with the latest Code requirements.
3. Prepares detailed engineering design and other technical bidding documents for CAPEX in-house and out-sourced projects in accordance with specified quality, cost and time frame and acceptability in accordance with the technical specifications and project requirements;
4. Prepares the complete Technical Bidding documents for:

1. Primary distribution system (Expansion and Replacement)

iii. Affected utilities

1. Updates monitoring records/ log sheets of RFIs received by the Unit for evaluation/ recommendation within the service level agreement.
2. Assists / participate in the preparation of the FEED requirements.
3. Evaluates Construction Methodologies and Materials in accordance with Maynilad standard specifications.
4. Prepare Technical Evaluation of Bid Proposals by Consultants/ Contractors according to set requirements, performance specifications and/or terms of reference in accordance with specified quality, cost and time frame and acceptability as prescribed by the company.
5. Evaluates Construction Methodologies and Materials in accordance with Maynilad standard specifications.
6. Evaluates in coordination with End Users the submitted Design Drawings of “Design and Build” projects by Consultants or Contractors prior to implementation on site within the prescribed time frame and in accordance with Maynilad Standard Drawings and Specification.
7. Prepares technical response to Contractor and other Stakeholder's request for information (RFI)
8. Evaluate in coordination with End Users the submitted Design Drawings, and other RFIs prepared by contractors/ consultants in accordance with specified quality, cost and time frame and acceptability in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.
9. Conducts investigation on site, and prepares investigation report with findings, comments, evaluation and recommendation as may be required.
10. Prepares Service Orders in coordination with the Consultant, monitor and review

1. Update design status of in-house and outsourced projects and prepares personnel monitoring and work allocation as per quality management system.
2. Reviews new and revised policies, operational procedures and work instructions, where necessary.
3. Reviews new and revised Standard Technical Specifications and Standard Drawings, where necessary.
4. Gathers data for presentations with regards to finished projects and obtain lessons learned and items for improvement.
5. Does other related engineering and management tasks as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Architect

• Must have up to three (3) years of total working experience, including entry-level or no prior experience (0–3 years).

• Possesses analytical and technical competency related to job
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with the ability to learn new software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge in office software such as Autocad, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

o (For Architect)

§ Knowledgeable in local and international architectural and building codes such as the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP), Fire Code of the Philippines.

§ Proficient in the following architectural design fundamentals:

• Space planning and functional layout,
• Architectural detailing and specifications,
• Building materials selection and application,
• Building code compliance and permitting requirements,
• Sustainable and green building design principles, and
• Coordination with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems

§ Experienced in preparation and review of architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

§ Knowledgeable in construction methodologies, site

development, and inspection of architectural works to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

§ Familiar with project documentation, cost estimates, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

§ Knowledge in urban planning principles, landscaping, and site development design is an advantage.
