Senior Accounting Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting
• Direct Supervision of External Compliance activities including those to BIR, PHIC, SSS, HDMF and SEC.
• Direct Supervisor of Cash Management activities both for collections and disbursements.
• Direct Supervision of General Ledger and Reporting activities
• Lead overall monthly closing activities and ensure completion within company-specified deadlines
• Month End Closing Activities
• Ensures security and internal controls
• Develop a month end-reporting package for presentation to senior management
• Ensure timely submission of audit requests
• Attend audit inquiries
• Timely completion of audit request
• Attend audit inquiries
• Timely completion of Audited Financial Statement (AFS)
• Preparation of bank and legal confirmation
• Ensure submission of balance sheet schedules

Job Qualifications:

• College graduate preferably Accountancy or Management Accounting
• At least 3 years experience
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
• Higher experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Can deliver quality and cost efficient results with occasional supervision.
• Can influence and lead cross-functional teams, perform objective assessment and provide effective feedback and recommendation.
• Receives occasional supervision from superior
• Ability to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission.
• Ability to keep functioning effectively when under pressure and maintain self-control in the face of hostility and provocation.
