Position title: FINANCE MANAGER – MANDARIN SPEAKING (1 Vacancy)

Job Description:

• Validate and post entries across AP, AR & GL, ensuring accuracy in both domestic and cross-border transactions
• Reconcile international and local accounts, incorporating dual reporting where required
• Generate monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reports (balance sheets, income & cash flow statements) in both English and Mandarin, when necessary
• Liaise directly with International-based Headquarters, partners, or investors for reporting, compliance, and remittance matters

• Prepare localized and consolidated budgets, incorporating both local and international operations if applicable
• Analyze budget variances and develop actionable recommendations in alignment with Asia and Pacific Headquarters.

• Validate payroll data, ensuring accurate contributions and alignment

• Approve payment and reimbursement requests with attention to cross-currency
• Supervise finance assistants in processing payments, preparing BIR 2307 forms, and liaising with vendors
• Maintain strong relationships and coordinate with international accounting teams (Mandarin-Speaking counterparts) and represent the local office in group finance calls.
• Internal Controls & Compliance
• Manage documentation and SOPs that align with international finance department expectations
• Ensure compliance with Philippine and international tax regulations, including VAT and transfer pricing documentation

• Manage the whole audit process whether internal or external audits
• Approve filing of VAT refund claims

• Stay informed on tax, audit, and accounting changes in both international and in the Philippines
• Contribute to internal audit readiness and manage Letter of Authority (LOA) cases
• Mentor junior finance team members and support systems upgrades or ERP transitions

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualification (Education, Experience, Professional License, Skills Certification, Specialized Training):

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master’s in accounting is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in multinational enterprises.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and proficiency in English is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and all analytical software tools.
• With experience in both tax consultancy and corporate accounting is preferred.
• With proven experience in SAP software.
