Position Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing Outsourcey’s end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll oversight, and compliance. You will play a critical role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), while also improving systems and processes to support rapid business growth.This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of global and Philippine-based financial practices.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning & Strategy
- Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by leadership
- Identify financial risks and opportunities to improve overall business health
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and key performance indicators
- Create dashboards and ad hoc reports for leadership and investor reporting
- Oversee general accounting processes including AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Ensure tax compliance and timely filing with relevant government agencies (PH BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, etc.)
- Coordinate with external accountants/auditors to maintain financial integrity
- Supervise payroll processing for remote employees across various regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with HR and client-facing teams to align payroll with contracts and labor laws
- Optimize payroll tools and workflows for efficiency
- Streamline financial systems and adopt automation tools where applicable (e.g., Xero)
- Establish and improve internal controls and financial policies
- Drive continuous process improvements to support scale
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong background in Philippine financial operations and payroll compliance
- Exposure to international/remote workforce financial management is a plus
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero)
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance in the Philippines
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
- CPA - highly preferred
