- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in insurance verification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor with strong work ethics
- Consistent attendance and adherence to assigned work schedules
- Conduct follow-ups with insurance companies to obtain required information
- Perform thorough insurance verification using established processes
- Enter, update, and maintain data with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and 90% accuracy
- Navigate and utilize multiple insurance portals efficiently
- Manage multiple assignments and projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Apply healthcare terminology during insurance verification and documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally through verbal and written interactions
- Organize and prioritize workload while demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
