Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of experience in insurance verification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare terminology
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor with strong work ethics
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to assigned work schedules
Responsibilities
  • Conduct follow-ups with insurance companies to obtain required information
  • Perform thorough insurance verification using established processes
  • Enter, update, and maintain data with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and 90% accuracy
  • Navigate and utilize multiple insurance portals efficiently
  • Manage multiple assignments and projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Apply healthcare terminology during insurance verification and documentation
  • Communicate clearly and professionally through verbal and written interactions
  • Organize and prioritize workload while demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
