Reliability Engineer

BTSMC Managing Solutions, Inc. is urgently looking for a RELIABILITY ENGINEER to be assigned in Pagbilao, Quezon Province.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability focus).
• 5+ years of maintenance and reliability experience in heavy industry (Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Utilities).
• Preferably Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional preferred. SQL skill is an advantage.
• Proven experience leading large-scale FMECA and asset calibration campaigns.

General Description:

The Reliability Engineer executes the technical analysis, failure data modeling, and data preparation required to build and optimize asset maintenance strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Data Extraction & Registry Initialization

• Query Failure Data: Extract and analyze historical breakdown, maintenance cost, and MTBF data from the CMMS to isolate systemic equipment issues.
• Verify Spares Lists: Cross-reference engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) and spare parts inventories against active asset tags to ensure master data accuracy.
• Establish Baselines: Organize structural asset data and historical performance metrics to prepare systems for formal criticality reviews.

1. ECA Execution & Pilot Ranking

• Populate Assessment Sheets: Manage, update, and maintain the Equipment Criticality Assessment (ECA) tool sheets and tracking registers.
• Baseline Performance: Document current asset operational performance, availability metrics, and regulatory constraints prior to evaluation workshops.
• Facilitate Pilot Exercises: Lead initial pilot ranking exercises with cross-functional teams to calibrate assessment criteria and test evaluation models.

1. Technical Analysis & FMECA Facilitation

• Define Asset Functions: Identify and document exact asset operational functions, performance standards, and environmental boundaries.
• Map Functional Failures: Analyze and categorize the specific ways an asset fails to meet its intended performance standards.
• Identify Failure Modes: Lead Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) workshops to pinpoint root causes, effects, and predictability scores for failure mechanisms.

1. CMMS Integration & Strategy Development

• Build PM Job Plans: Develop detailed, sequential preventative maintenance job plans embedded with resource estimates, tools, and safety steps.
• Define Maintenance Routines: Establish standard maintenance tasks, intervals, and predictive care schedules matched to specific failure modes.
• Draft Deployment Data: Create final, error-free CMMS uploader sheets and comprehensive Asset Care Strategy (ACS) documentation for final approval.
