Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Collections Team Leader to oversee and manage collections operations within the Bacolod area. The successful candidate will lead a team of collections specialists, drive portfolio performance, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and implement strategies that improve recovery rates while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of collections officers to achieve individual and team performance targets.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly collections performance and provide actionable feedback.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery rates and minimize delinquency.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
  • Review and analyze portfolio trends, aging reports, and collection metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical collection practices.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Risk, and Customer Service teams to improve collection processes.
  • Prepare and submit performance reports to regional and senior management.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend operational enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in collections, credit management, or accounts receivable.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of collection strategies, portfolio management, and delinquency control.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing regional or multi-site collections teams.
  • Background in banking, financial services, lending, telecommunications, or consumer finance industries.
  • Familiarity with collection management systems and CRM platforms.
