Collections Team Leader - Bacolod

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Collections Team Leader to lead and support our collections team handling motorcycle loan accounts. The ideal candidate has a strong background in field or tele-collections, excellent people management skills, and the ability to monitor portfolio performance while conducting field visits as needed.

• Lead, coach, and supervise a team of field and/or tele collectors to achieve collection targets.
• Monitor daily collection activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement action plans to improve team productivity.
• Perform account monitoring, portfolio reviews, and delinquency management.
• Coordinate field collection activities and conduct client visits when necessary.
• Prepare and submit collection performance reports and recommendations to management.
• Investigate collection issues and resolve escalated borrower concerns.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely endorsement of accounts for further collection actions.
• Travel within the assigned area to monitor accounts, support collection activities, and supervise field personnel.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or any related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in field collections and/or telecollections, preferably handling motorcycle loans, salary loans, consumer loans, or similar lending products.
• Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or people management role is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Good negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable driving a motorcycle and possesses a valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory for account monitoring and field supervision.
• Goal-oriented and capable of working in a target-driven environment.

• Knowledge of collection strategies, skip tracing, and delinquency management.
• Experience managing field collectors and telecollectors.
• Ability to analyze collection performance and develop improvement plans.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
