We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support a busy and growing wedding and events planning business. This is a remote role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, client-focused environments and has strong organizational and communication skills.
The role will initially commence at approximately 15 hours per week (with potential to increase to full-time hours as the business expands).
⭐ About the Role
You will play a key support role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting with client communications, administrative tasks, and coordination of event-related documentation.
✅ Key Requirements- Previous experience working as a Virtual Assistant
- Fluent or near-native English (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional patience and attention to detail
- Fast learner with the ability to follow processes and instructions
- Strong understanding of professional email etiquette
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Availability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Software & Technical Skills
Applicants must have a clear working knowledge of:
- Monday.com
- Canva
- Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook for email management)
- Google Drive & Google Workspace
- Excel and spreadsheet management
- Social media scheduling platforms (basic scheduling knowledge required)
- Basic copywriting skills with understanding of brand voice (highly regarded)
- Key Responsibilities
- Light social media scheduling and content posting
- Monitoring and managing client inboxes when the business owner is unavailable
- Providing timely and professional responses to client enquiries
- Data entry into client timelines and event planning systems
- Following up with clients and vendors for outstanding information
- Updating spreadsheets, timelines, and documentation
- Assisting with website updates in collaboration with the web designer
- Maintaining daily task and productivity reports
- Calendar and appointment management
- Assisting with onboarding new clients
