Store Manager
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail operations in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff performance, and achieving sales targets.As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, maintaining store standards, and implementing company policies whilst fostering a positive team environment. This role is integral to our retail strategy and will directly impact our market presence and customer satisfaction in the region.
Key responsibilities- Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
- Lead, recruit, train, and motivate a team of store associates to ensure excellent customer service delivery
- Monitor and achieve sales targets, implementing effective sales strategies and promotional activities
- Maintain store appearance, visual merchandising standards, and compliance with company guidelines
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and coordinate with supply chain for timely replenishment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and promptly
- Analyse store performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations within the store premises
- Implement marketing initiatives and participate in promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement
- Budget management and cost control to maintain profitability and operational efficiency
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar retail management role in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
- Solid understanding of inventory management, stock control, and merchandising principles
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and store metrics
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services is advantageous
- Fluency in English and Filipino is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
