Purchasing Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing suppliers and requesting quotations.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of materials.
Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries and order status.
Coordinate with the Warehouse, Production, QA, and Accounting departments.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier files, and procurement reports.
Compare supplier prices and negotiate for cost-effective purchasing.
Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, and supplier concerns.
Ensure purchased materials comply with company quality and food safety standards.
Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related course.
At least 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
Experience in a Food Manufacturing company is highly preferred.
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/SAP is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
