Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Researcher acquires, sorts, and communicates information, videos, case studies from various sources to be used by the production team.- Establishes and builds a network of reliable sources
- Does intensive background research on assigned topics inclusive OF BUT NOT limited to the following: related documents, case studies, pertinent video material;
- Provides data, information and video support to Junior Producer/Segment Producer/Field Producer in the coverage of stories;
- Works closely with the SWE Specialists and DEG Video Editors and DEG Graphics to identify production requirements and provide support accordingly. This includes but are not limited to: scheduling, transportation arrangements, equipment requests, location permits, props, photos, video etc.
- Attends and actively participates in the weekly brainstorming meetings and submits viable topics/story suggestions for future stories.
- College graduate preferably Mass Communication / Journalism / or any related course.
