Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution facilities in Lipa City, Batangas. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, maximizing productivity and maintaining high standards of safety and inventory control.

1. Manage and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team, including inventory management, order picking, packing and shipping
2. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods and materials, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing
3. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment
4. Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
5. Collaborate with the logistics and transportation teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods to customers
6. Provide training and development opportunities for the warehouse staff to enhance their skills and productivity
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities
8. Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies, procedures, and systems

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within the logistics or distribution industry
2. Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, material handling, and distribution processes
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
4. Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant technology
5. Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
6. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the warehousing industry
7. Adaptable to changes and willing to continuously improve operations
